About Us

Oxford Creativity is the leading provider of TRIZ within the European Union. From our base in Oxfordshire, we teach the use of TRIZ for problem solving and creativity in companies throughout the UK, Europe and the world.

The whole Oxford Creativity TRIZ Team will be contributing to this blog, giving you a chance to find out more about us and what we do. Find out more about our regular contributors below.

Lilly Haines-Gadd

Lilly is the Managing Director of Oxford Creativity, with 12 years experience as a TRIZ Consultant. She has recently completed a MSC in Occupational Psychology at Birkbeck College, University of London.

Karen Gadd

The founder of Oxford Creativity, Karen has used TRIZ for over a decade to solve problems quickly and effectively. She is the author of TRIZ for Engineers: Enabling Inventive Problem Solving, published by Wiley in 2011.

Andrew Martin

Andrew is a systems engineer with over 20 years of experience in the aerospace industry. He has been a TRIZ Consultant for Oxford Creativity for over 5 years, and believes that the systematic nature of TRIZ makes it a natural partner for formal quality systems and that it should be embedded into company procedures to bridge the ‘creativity gap’ that lies between system requirements and solution concepts.

Andrea Mica

Andrea has been working for Oxford Creativity as a TRIZ Consultant since 2003. He is the co-founder of Clean Steel, a company that recycles production materials from the tyre industry.

Ron Donaldson

Ron is a self employed consultant and an accredited Cognitive Edge practitioner. He specialises in narrative/complexity based methods, appreciative inquiry and open space technology. He enjoys working as a coach, facilitator or trainer in the preferred fields of knowledge sharing, change management, team building and of course problem solving using TRIZ.

Neil Sherry

Neil joins us from Invention Machine, and is experienced in both training people in the TRIZ philosophy and tools, and in the application of those techniques to create breakthrough solutions.
